Time Out

We took a break from playing with jewelry the other night and went to see Raul Malo (formerly of the Mavericks) at the Keswick Theatre outside of Philadelphia. GREAT show! We had seats in the front row, so we had to take a couple of pictures.

The band was absolutely amazing! Incredibly talented musicians! And Raul? That voice! Awesome!!

For those who like guitars, it was fascinating to see the vintage guitars that he had with him. Raul (we're on a first-name basis now *wink*) opened the show with a 1964 Fender Jaguar. He had a 12-string Paul Reed Smith and a gorgeous, old orange Gretsch among other things. Michael (who is a wonderful guitarist) was in guitar heaven!

And as you can see, there are MORE advantages to being in the front row. :)

We had a wonderful time, as usual! There is nothing quite like music to dispel the clouds from your life.
